LECTURER
People seek therapy for many different reasons. Some come because of overwhelming anxiety or low mood, while others feel stuck in recurring relationship patterns or struggle with stress, burnout or a lack of fulfilment. Whatever has brought you here, therapy provides a space to understand these difficulties and work towards lasting change. Some difficulties I typically help with include:
Many of the people I work with are professionals who appear to be coping on the outside but privately struggle with anxiety, depression, stress, burnout or recurring difficulties in their relationships.
While these problems may be the reason you seek therapy, they are often symptoms of deeper emotional patterns that have developed over time. Rather than focusing solely on symptom management, my aim is to help you understand why you feel the way you do and create meaningful, lasting change.
As a Clinical Psychologist, I use a formulation-led approach tailored to your individual experiences and goals. One of the main approaches I draw upon is Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), an evidence-based therapy that helps uncover and resolve the underlying emotional processes that keep people stuck.
If you've tried therapy before, learned coping strategies, but still feel you're facing the same difficulties, this approach may offer a different way forward—helping you not only feel better, but understand yourself more fully on a deeper level.

assessment
Therapy begins with a two-hour assessment, allowing us to develop a detailed understanding of your difficulties and decide whether this approach feels right for you.
At the end of the assessment, I'll explain my understanding of your difficulties, discuss how therapy may help, and answer any questions. There is no obligation to continue with therapy afterwards.
Therapy
Therapy sessions are online and are typically held weekly and last 50 minutes.
